Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will be there to warmly welcome you. They will assist you with the immigration formalities and transfer you to your hotel. 

 

If you arrive in the evening, we will hold a guide briefing at the hotel to provide you with an overview of the trek and address any queries you may have. In case of a daytime arrival, we will conduct the briefing at our office. This briefing session is designed to ensure that you have all the necessary information and are well-prepared for your trekking adventure.

During the trekking portion of the trip, all meals will be provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In Kathmandu, only breakfast will be included. Additionally, welcome and farewell dinners will be organized for guests to enjoy.

Meals will be served at the lodges or teahouses where guests stay overnight. A wide range of cuisine options will be available, encompassing Nepalese, Tibetan, continental, and Indian dishes.

Breakfast will consist of a selection of hot beverages, toast, pancakes, eggs, and similar items. For lunch, there will be a variety of choices such as rice dishes, noodles, potatoes, pizza, pasta, burgers, meat, and more. Dinner will typically begin with soup as a starter, followed by main courses similar to the lunch menu, including dessert and a hot beverage.

Accommodation

For our stay in Kathmandu, we have made arrangements for comfortable accommodation in a 3-star hotel. During the trek, we will be staying in lodges on a twin-sharing basis. In case anyone prefers a single room, a single supplement can be arranged at an additional cost.

 

The lodges along the trek route will generally have rooms with attached washrooms. However, it’s important to note that in some lodges, shared washing and toilet facilities may be available.

 

While single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and at lower elevations, they may be limited or unavailable at higher elevations. It’s important to understand that the standards of accommodation can vary at different locations along the Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek.
