In the early morning, your trekking guide picks you up from the hotel and the journey starts. The journey from Kathmandu to Besisahar is approximately 175 kilometers and typically takes around 5-6 hours by road, depending on traffic and road conditions. The route offers stunning views of the Nepalese countryside, passing through lush valleys, terraced fields, and small villages.
From Besi Sahar, you change into local sharing jeep to go Jagat for the first night in the mountain. It is around 3 hours drive on rugged path.

We will start our trek towards Dharapani through oak and pine forests, with the possibility of encountering stunning rhododendron flowers. Along the way, we will witness the breathtaking Tal Waterfall and Chamche Waterfall. Afterward, we will follow a trail that includes a few steep sections and rocky paths, but mostly clean roads. The trek will take approximately 6-7 hours to reach Dharapani. Upon arrival, we will settle into a cozy tea house and spend the night. This will be an excellent opportunity to rest, recharge, and immerse ourselves in the unique culture and traditions of the region by interacting with the friendly locals.

We will begin our trek early in the morning and traverse through breathtaking forests, crossing the Marsyangdi River several times. As we trek, we will have the chance to witness the natural beauty of the Annapurna region and soak up the tranquil surroundings.During the trek, we will also have the opportunity to visit several stunning viewpoints, including the Manaslu and Annapurna II viewpoints. These viewpoints offer breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of these majestic mountains. These views will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on trekkers and make for a memorable experience. We will then continue trekking to reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. We will stay overnight in a tea house in Chame.

On Day 5, we will start our trek to Upper Pisang, where we will encounter beautiful rocky mountains and traverse through stunning forests and several suspension bridges. Along the way, we will also pass through one of Asia’s largest apple farms and enjoy a refreshing lunch break in Bhratang village. The trek will take roughly 5-6 hours to complete, and we will stay overnight in a comfortable tea house in Upper Pisang. This will be a great opportunity to rest and recharge before continuing our journey.

Manang trek will start on day 6, passing through beautiful landscapes and scenic views of the Annapurna range. We will cross the Marsyangdi River and continue trekking through beautiful valleys and small villages to reach Manang. We will stay overnight in a tea house in Manang.

On Day 7, we will take a well-deserved break and spend the day acclimatizing in the beautiful village of Manang. This will give us time to adjust to the higher altitude and prepare for the upcoming challenges of the trek. During our rest day, we will have the opportunity to explore the charming village and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We highly recommend visiting the Gangapurna Lake and monastery, which are popular tourist attractions in the area. Manang is a significant settlement in the region, and it is home to a vibrant community of local people. As we spend time in the village, we will have the chance to learn more about the unique customs and traditions of the area, making for a rich and rewarding cultural experience.

On day 8, we trek towards Yak Kharka, passing through beautiful landscapes and small villages. Continuing along the Jarsang Khola Valley, we reach Yak Kharka at 4,000m. As the name suggests, there are a lot of yaks here! The vegetation grows sparse, however, as we continue to hit higher altitudes.

On Day 9, we will set out on our trek towards Thorang Phedi, which will take us through some of the most breathtaking landscapes of the region. We will cross several suspension bridges and marvel at the natural beauty of our surroundings. After a refreshing lunch break in Letdar, we will resume our trek towards Thorang Phedi. This leg of the journey will take roughly 4-5 hours to complete, and we will stay overnight in a tea house in Thorang Phedi. It is worth noting that Thorang Phedi marks the end of our journey through the Manang Valley, making it a significant milestone in our trek. This is a great opportunity to rest up and prepare for the challenges of the days to come.

On Day 10, we will start on a significant journey, crossing districts from Manang to Mustang. After descending, we will arrive at the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath, where we will stay overnight in a comfortable tea house. Jomsom trek will start on day 11, passing through the Lubra Pass and crossing the Kali Gandaki River. We will trek through beautiful landscapes and small villages to reach Jomsom, the headquarters of Mustang district. We will stay overnight in a tea house in Jomsom.

We will hike up to Poonhill on day 14, a popular viewpoint to witness the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. We will then trek back to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue our descent to Nayapul. We will then take a drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city. We will stay overnight in a hotel in Pokhara.

The time to go back to Kathmandu, passing through scenic landscapes and small villages. We will reach Kathmandu by the afternoon and have some free time to explore the city or do some last-minute shopping. We will stay overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is considered a moderate to difficult trek due to its high altitude, steep ascents and descents, and unpredictable weather conditions. However, with proper training and acclimatization, anyone with a moderate level of fitness can complete the trek.
The best time to go on the Annapurna Circuit Trek is from September to November and from March to May. During these months, the weather is usually clear and dry, and the views are spectacular. However, the trek can also be done in other months, but the weather may be more unpredictable.
Accommodation during the trek is available in tea houses, which are small lodges along the trekking route. These tea houses provide basic facilities such as a bed, a blanket, and a shared bathroom. Some tea houses also have hot showers and charging facilities, but at an extra cost.
Altitude sickness is a condition caused by exposure to high altitudes, where the air pressure and oxygen levels are low. Symptoms of altitude sickness include headaches, nausea, dizziness, and shortness of breath. It can be prevented by acclimatizing properly, drinking plenty of water, avoiding alcohol and smoking, and taking medication, such as Diamox, as recommended by your doctor.
