Trek Me Nepal’s Experience at the Adventure Travel Show (ATS) 2025

The Adventure Travel Show 2025 (ATS) held in London on January 11th and 12th was an unforgettable experience for Trek Me Nepal. We are excited to share our insights, memories, and learnings from the event that brought together adventure enthusiasts, travel companies, and tourism boards worldwide.

A Thriving Setup for Adventure Enthusiasts

The ATS 2025 was a buzzing event, perfectly designed to celebrate the spirit of adventure. The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) provided us with a spacious 32 sqm booth to represent Nepal and seven other travel agents.

Our booth, marked as Stand D18, featured a three-sided open setup that was welcoming and accessible for attendees. While the weather outside was chilly, the warm atmosphere inside made it all worthwhile.

The event’s theme, “Adventure,” was evident from the entrance. Eye-catching setups like the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon created a sense of excitement for attendees. From exhilarating trekking adventures to thrilling activities like rafting and bungee jumping, exhibitors showcased a wide array of offerings for adventure lovers.

Meeting Travel Enthusiasts

One of the highlights of ATS 2025 was interacting with the visitors who dropped by our stand. Over the two days, we interacted with more than 100 visitors. Here’s a quick overview of the people we met:

Visitor Overview

Over 100+ visitors engaged with Trek Me Nepal’s team during the two-day event. The majority hailed from the UK (90%), with a few from Australia, Italy, and other countries. Retired individuals, Employees, travel journalists, and business owners were among them.

Most visitors expressed interest in adventure activities, while some also inquired about trekking, heli tours, cycling, mountain biking, rappelling, jungle safaris, and cultural tours. The preferred destinations discussed were primarily land-based adventures, with EBC and ABC trekking ranking highest.

Despite expecting a younger crowd, we were thrilled and surprised by the overwhelming love and interest in Nepal also shown by older attendees, many of whom had already visited Nepal and shared glowing reviews.

Preferred Destinations

Attendees demonstrated a strong preference for land adventures, with Nepal’s Everest Base Camp (EBC) and Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) being the top picks. These iconic trekking routes continue to charm travelers seeking both physical and spiritual journeys.

Potential Partnerships

While no formal agreements were made during the event, promising collaboration opportunities were initiated. One notable connection was with Alfresco Ltd, a company that creates natural insect and mosquito repellents. Their CEO, Sarah-Lou Morris, expressed interest in promoting Trek Me Nepal through her client base and vice versa.

Alfresco’s emphasis on natural and eco-friendly solutions aligns perfectly with our core values of sustainability and eco-tourism practices. By collaborating, Trek Me Nepal can promote responsible travel, appealing to eco-conscious travelers who prioritize low-impact tourism.

Incorporating Alfresco’s products as part of our trekking gear package can add an extra layer of safety and care for our clients. Providing eco-friendly repellents to the clients will showcase our commitment to their comfort, health, and protection during their adventures.

Suggestions for Organizers To Enhance Experience

While the event was expertly organized and immensely enjoyable, one suggestion from our perspective as participants was to include a token of appreciation for attendees, such as a participation certificate. Such gestures would have made the experience even more memorable and created lasting goodwill among participants.

We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Adventure Travel Show(ATS) 2025 and connecting with a dynamic audience. The event strengthened our resolve to continue promoting Nepal as the ultimate adventure destination.

Whether it’s trekking to Everest Base Camp or exploring the Annapurna Circuit, Trek Me Nepal is here to craft unforgettable travel experiences.

At the Adventure Travel Show (ATS) 2025 in London on January 11th and 12th, Trek Me Nepal presented a wide variety of marketing materials to attract visitors and showcase the best of Nepal’s adventure travel offerings.

Our booth was filled with brochures, banners, and invitation cards, each designed to create an exciting experience for attendees.

Here’s how visitors responded to our promotions:

Beautiful Invitation Cards and Dhaka Topi

One of the standout moments was our beautifully designed invitation cards. Many visitors commented on how attractive and professional they looked, and several mentioned that our invitation was one of the best they received.

We also gave out Dhaka topi to our visitors. This gesture was widely appreciated, as guests loved wearing these traditional Nepali hats, adding a unique touch to the experience. This thoughtful presentation helped Trek Me Nepal stand out among other exhibitors at ATS.

Promotional Offers and On-the-Spot Discounts

We also offered promotional booking discounts for those interested in Nepal trips, especially for Everest Base Camp (EBC) and Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) treks. These special offers generated significant interest, resulting in 5 confirmed bookings during the event and over 20 inquiries about these iconic trekking destinations in Nepal.

The special on-the-spot booking discounts caught the attention of adventure seekers looking to experience the beauty of Nepal’s mountains firsthand.

Future Marketing Suggestions

Based on the feedback from attendees, Trek Me Nepal gathered some important insights on how to improve future promotions.

One key suggestion is to create a digital presentation showcasing our top-selling packages like EBC and ABC. Displaying this on an iPad or a large digital screen would allow us to share high-quality visuals of the trekking experiences, which could help potential travelers better visualize their adventure in Nepal.

This will add to the overall visual appeal and help visitors experience our packages more engagingly and interactively at future events.
