After you freshen up, we will provide some briefing regarding the thrill that is waiting for you—the trek, of course. Enjoy the welcome dinner in the evening and have a good sleep as we start our adventure tomorrow.Â

You begin your journey by hopping into an early morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. The flight travels above the high mountains and passes many valleys. You will indeed enjoy this flight.Â
You will then land to Lukla and will get to meet your guides and porters. Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast in a place that mighty mountains surround. After breakfast, you officially start the trek.Â
You walk through lush forest, rivers crossing suspension bridges. You will finally reach Phakding after passing a few Sherpa villages. We will escort you to your tea house where you will have your dinner and rest for the night.Â

The trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding would take around seven hours. You will trek through the trails of lush rhododendron forests and cross high suspension bridges. Soon after some walking, you will enter Sagarmatha National Park. After a quick permit check, you climb today’s final stretch to Namche. Â
Once you arrive at Namche, you will bless your eyes with a town so vibrant, with mountains circling the whole bazaar. Namche Bazaar is full of markets, cafes and shops, you do not get a chance to experience boredom. End the day having a deserving dinner and taking a good sleep.

There are several benefits to sleeping this close to the mountains. One surely is having breakfast while you watch the magnificent peaks. Today is the day where all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the day in this mountain village. Today’s day also contains short hikes to help you acclimatize with the surroundings.
You can hike up to Hotel Everest View anytime during the day for some breathtaking views of Mt. Everest. If time permits, you also can do some store browsing, stop by a cafe or bakery, and then treat yourself. Just make sure that you do not miss the grand sunset against the mountains that will inspire and amaze you.Â

By the time you initiate an ascent to the renowned Tengboche village, the excitement in your body will continue to build more and more as you approach closer. The higher you get, the thinner the air gets. Always keep your eyes toward the horizon, your head up high, so you catch glimpses of majestic towering peaks.Â
The air will be teeming with energy as you get closer to Tengboche. Forests of pine and rhododendron will stretch as far as the eye can see. You will reach Tengboche at dusk, where you can feel the ancient walls and hear their resonant chants. As night falls, colorful prayer flags will be seen fluttering in the breeze in this remote village with majestic mountains in the background.

Early morning, after you fuel your body with a powering breakfast, you begin the trek to Dingboche. The trail to Dingboche is quite difficult but surely not impossible. Although difficult, the breathtaking landscapes will motivate you to continue further.Â
You will walk past the lush forests of rhododendron, following the shadows of the majestic Himalayan mountains. This could be the hardest walk of your life, but truly the best one. Arriving at Dingboche, you will notice that the place you are standing is situated in the vicinity of numerous gigantic mountains. You will check in to your teahouse and have a luscious dinner.

Today is another day where you let your body rest and adapt to the high altitude. This day is all about soaking in the majesty of the Himalayas right from the heart of the Khumbu region. With only short treks planned, there is no long hike ahead. It is a chance for you to get you ready for the tougher journey that awaits tomorrow.
You will be travelling over gentle hillsides today, dotted with houses and prayer flags. You will see the majestic peaks peering down from the heavens as you plod through the breeze. As you rest and recover today, you will see more mountains, bringing you one step closer to your goal of Everest Base Camp Trek.

More than anything else, venturing towards Everest Base Camp beckons the feeling that with every step, one is further closing in on his destination. Once at Khumbu River Valley, the rugged charm of Dingboche will be long gone. You will find yourself trekking along the Khumbu Glacier itself.Â
By midday, you would feel breakfast like a distant memory as you push forward, craving more energy with every breath. You will need to balance rest and pace to avoid falling behind or tiring too quickly. As you trudge toward Lobuche, stunning mountain views offer comfort.Â
After reaching Lobuche, the locals will warmly greet you and will check in to your teahouse. You immerse yourself with the unique culture and tradition of the people living here. You end the day with an energetic meal and a good sleep.Â

Today is your big day, probably the one you have been waiting for all this while, as you reach Everest Base Camp. After breakfast, you begin on rocky and uneven pathways. You start trekking uphill alongside the Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep, a little village close to Everest Base Camp.
Arriving at Gorakshep sometime in the late morning, after a short rest, you will walk to Base Camp. This last stretch really is exciting and greatly anticipated. You are finally going to get to the foot of the highest peak on Earth.Â
Take pictures and films at the base camp, documenting every moment until your batteries run out or your cameras die. Live in the moment while you are here because you have been submerged under the shadow of the highest mountain in the world. As the sun sets, you gradually make your way down into Gorakshep.

You start the day heading towards Kalapatthar, a peak close to Gorakshep. Reaching here offers you iconic views of Lotse, Everest, and Nuptse. It is one of the main highlights of Everest base camp trek. Trekking higher up, you will witness surreal landscapes nearby, especially the gigantic glaciers.
The top arrives after a really tough climb, and from here, you will be greeted with views of breathtaking panoramas. Also, you can view a rare sight of Mount Everest itself with a golden peak.

You head down early through rugged trails to Namche Bazaar. Anticipation will keep you on the trail, one full of lush valleys and picturesque villages that do not miss the scenes of Tengboche. To add more adventure, you will also cross some suspension bridges well above gushing rivers along the way.
After reaching Namche Bazar, you can finally enjoy hot showers, better phone calls, and most importantly, the internet. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the markets and shops of Namche. You can have some modern dishes from the local cafes as well. You will end up having a good sleep tonight as your body could be aching.Â

Today is the day you say goodbye to Namche, in a mixed feeling of joy and sadness. The beautiful downhills to Lukla are sometimes doubled by the presence of the raging Dudhkoshi River. The trail descends further with steep slopes through forests and valleys down to Phakding for yet another lunch at the foot of the great Himalayas.
Upon arrival in Lukla, with a few hours of leisurely trekking, here you will see the settlements, the shops, the cafes, the little lanes, and the narrow airstrip. This is the last stop in Everest region and your Everest base camp trek end here. The people going hither and thither about their business will be a happy sight as you are eagerly waiting for your flight to Kathmandu.

It is a bitter truth that you will be catching a flight today early in the morning to Kathmandu. Do not feel sad; good memories and experiences that you are taking with you are what matter.Â
Enjoy the scenic flight to Kathmandu where you will be flying over the world’s top tallest mountains and deep valleys. We suggest you not to miss any of the scenes during the flight.Â
Once you land in Kathmandu, we will drop you off at your hotel. You can explore the busy markets and narrow streets of Kathmandu to pass your time. And in the evening, you will join in a farewell dinner, sharing stories and once again being grateful for the wonderful journey you just took to Everest Base Camp.
After having breakfast, following the schedule of your flight, we will transfer you to the airport on private transport. As your plane gets up on the runway in Kathmandu, your trip to Nepal for this time comes to an end here. We will always be there to welcome you again till you have yet another adventure to get some memories and a challenging trip in the Himalayas.
