The Island Peak Climbing Itinerary is a 15-day adventure that takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes and cultures in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The trek begins in Kathmandu and takes you to Lukla, where you start your journey towards Island Peak. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful Sherpa villages, monasteries, and stunning mountain ranges, including Mt. Everest.
The itinerary includes ample time for acclimatization to prevent altitude sickness and a contingency day. In case of any unforeseen circumstances for the trekkers. The highlight of the trek is the climb to the summit of Island Peak, which offers stunning views of mountains.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel.
If your arrival is in the evening, we will hold a guide briefing at the hotel. However, if you arrive during the day, we will have the briefing at our office. The guide briefing will give you an overview of the trek and answer any questions you may have.
You should bring 2 passport size photos and travel insurance papers. Our guide will give you important information and answer any questions you may have about the trek.

On the second day, we will take an early morning flight to Lukla, which offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. After landing, we will trek to Phakding, which takes about three to four hours. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful Sherpa villages and witness their unique culture and way of life.

You will spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the high altitude. You can buy trekking gear and handicrafts and find accommodation. We will also hike to the Syanboche Airport (highest airport in Nepal) and Hotel Everest View, which offers breathtaking views of Everest and few other places.

The morning after staying in Tengboche, we will trek through Deboche’s alpine forest and cross Imja Khola on a suspension bridge. We’ll see a stone-inscribed wall and enjoy stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lotse, and Makalu, all over 8,000 meters high. After hiking up to Pangboche and following the Imja Valley trail, we reach Dingboche, the final destination of a challenging ascent.

Following breakfast, we will embark on a trek to Island Peak Base Camp, which typically takes around four hours to complete. During the trek, we’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Ama Dablam, which our climbing leader will use for ice climbing practice.

Upon arrival, you can explore the city and visit the local markets to purchase souvenirs for your loved ones. You can discover the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
