 Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Cost

The cost of the Kailash Mansarovar yatra depends on different factors. The tour itself, from Kathmandu to Kathmandu, is ten days. We need a Tibet travel permit and a Tibet visa fee, which makes the trip quite expensive compared to our other travel package. Depending on the group and route, the price will be USD 1950 to 2000 per person.

The visa fee cost depends on your country of origin. You will need to view your original passport for the application. We will apply for The Tibet Travel Permit. We get an Alien’s Travel Permit, Restricted Areas Permit, and Frontier Pass.

The travel permit cost is already included in our package. We do all the necessary official work for all the permits and passes. You need to present at the Embassy of Kathmandu for the Tibet visa. Now they need your biometrics and need to fill lots of official papers. We will do all the formalities and arrange a visa for you.

Tibet Tourist Attraction Entrance Fee

Kailasin Mansarovar yatra , we will include All the costs. The entrance to the various attractions is included in the tour’s cost. During the trip, the cost of the local Tibetan guide is included in the package. The fees for your tour guide will be shared, while on a group tour, you will only pay a percentage of the cost of the guide.

If you are in a bigger group, the attendant costs t for all the tour group members. That’s why the cost is lower in a big group.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Route

Our route to Kailash Mansarovar yatra is from Kathmandu to Kathmandu via Kerung. We do drive-in, drive-out, or visa Lhasa flies-in fly-out. You can also take the 1-way flight and 1-way drive route, which is more scenic and saves money. This also makes a difference in all the expenses for the tour. The cost difference between flights and train travel to Lhasa. As flights are much more expensive than trains.

Depending on your budget and time, you can use different travel routes. Most travelers follow the standard Kerung method, which develops completely bypassing via SyabruBesi. Stay overnight at Kyirong County, Dongba, Mansarovar Lake, and Darchen.

From here, we will encounter the walking path on the base of Mount Kailash (Yama Dwar). After accomplishing the ambition of inspecting the North face of Mount Kailash, it connects to its base. It leads backward by retracing the earlier developed course until the termination destination by foot.

Finally, all the routes take you to Holy Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash. People believe that taking a holy bath is a religious thing. After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will depart from Tibet border (Rashuwagadhi) by private coach, enjoying the drive along the Highway. It takes around one hours for the drive. Our staffs will complete custom formalities and make sure you enter into Tibet – an autonomous part of China, without hassles. After having lunch, you will drive to a small Tibetan town called Kerung by bus or van. Dinner & Overnight stay at Kerung Guest House.

After breakfast on the fifth day, you will then drive from Kerung to Sanga ( 160 k.m). The drive will be wonderful and scenic.  You will enjoy the entertaining, 5 hour drive. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Drive from Saga to Lake Manasarovar

After breakfast at the guesthouse, we will the drive (450km) from Sanga to Lake Mansarovar. The drive will take for around seven hours. After reaching Lake Mansarovar, you will perform Pooja and hawan at the religious site and then stay at the banks of Lake Manasarover, enjoying the supreme beauty of the region. Overnight stay in  guesthouse.

After spending a day at Manasarovar, you will have breakfast in the morning on the seventh day. After that you will circumambulate or do the Manasarovar Parikrama . You can also choose a special point to take a holy dip in Manasarovar Lake and do Pooja and worship of Lord Shiva. Around afternoon, you will drive for around three hours  to reach Darchen. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

First day of Kora-Trek to Dirphuk

This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. On this day, we shall start the journey after breakfast. We will walk continuously for about 6 to 7 hours (12km). Yak will carry all the goods and equipments and hence you will just have to walk along with the guides, enjoying the beauty of the region. Overnight stay at Diraphuk at guest house.

Second Day of Kora-Trek to Zhulthulphuk via Dolma La Pass (5600m)

This is one of the toughest days of the trekking and trekkers will have to pass Dolma-La Pass which is located at 5600 m. The weather is unpredictable in Doma-la Pass and at any time snowstorm can fall and hence the trekkers should be prepared for all that. So, we will try to start our journey as early as possible. During the course of walking the 22km, we can have Darshan at Gaurikunda.  Overnight stay in Zhulthulphuk at guest house.

Drive to Saga via Darchen

On the tenth day, we walk down to Darchen from where you will drive to Mansarovar and then experience the spiritual feel of the region. You will then get back to Paryang following the same route you followed earlier, and hence same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal.  Overnight stay at guesthouse.

On the eleventh day, you will drive back from Paryang to Nyalam.  Nyalam is the last place we stay in Tibet during the itinerary. The route will be the same as you followed earlier and hence the drive back will be easy and smooth. There is plenty to see along the way.  Overnight stay at Nyalam.

Drive to Kathmandu

Following the clearance of custom formalities, you will be picked up on the Nepali side and continue drive back to Kathmandu. In around five hours of drive along the same Highway, you will arrive in Kathmandu. After that you will be transferred to the same hotel where you will be staying overnight.
