The Everest Base Camp Drive In Fly-Out Trek is an 18-day adventure that takes you to the world’s highest mountain. The trek starts with a scenic drive to Phaplu, and then it continues on foot to Nunthala. In addition Bupsa, Cheplung, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche.
On the ninth and tenth days, you will acclimatize to the high altitude in Dingboche. On the twelfth day, you will trek to the Everest Base Camp, the starting point for Everest expeditions. After spending time at the base camp, you will hike to Kala Patthar, a viewpoint that offers stunning views of Mt. Everest and other peaks.
The trek ends with a descent to Lukla, where you’ll take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Overall, the trek is a great opportunity to explore the stunning natural beauty of the region and to experience the local culture and lifestyle of the Sherpa people.
Everest Base Drive-In Fly Out Trek takes you through classic routes taken by mountaineers, adventurers, and trekkers. It is considered one of the most rewarding treks in Nepal.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure, resting and exploring the city if you have time.
If your arrival is in the evening, we will hold a guide briefing at the hotel. However, if you arrive during the day, we will have the briefing at our office. The guide briefing will give you an overview of the trek and answer any questions you may have.

After breakfast, we’ll take a scenic drive to Phaplu, passing through picturesque villages, hills, and valleys. The drive may take around 8-9 hours, but the views along the way are breathtaking. Once we reach Phaplu, we’ll rest and spend the night at a guesthouse.

We’ll start the day by crossing a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and then climbing up to the village of Khari Khola. We’ll then trek through dense forests and rhododendron trees to reach the village of Cheplung, where we’ll spend the night.

Today, we’ll make our way to Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa town known for its bustling market and stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We’ll trek through forests and cross several suspension bridges before reaching Namche Bazaar, where we’ll spend the night at a guesthouse.

We’ll take another rest day in Dingboche to further acclimatise to the altitude. We can take a short hike to nearby hills, visit the Sherpa Museum, Sagarmatha National Park Museum, hike to the Everest View Hotel and visit Tengboche Village to get a glimpse of Mount Everest and other peaks.

Today, we’ll continue our trek towards Lobuche, a small settlement located in the shadows of some of the highest peaks in the world. We’ll trek through moraines and glacial valleys and enjoy views of the Khumbu Glacier and surrounding peaks. We’ll spend the night at a guesthouse in Lobuche.

This is the day! When we fulfil our dream to stand right at the foot of the world’s greatest mountain! It really is like in movies, if not more beautiful and majestic to see Sagarmatha in person. And beingbm closest possible to the flow of Khumbu Icefall, it is an extraordinary, unique, well deserved…just higher level experience! We will have time here to take amazing pictures, and admire the landscape, before returning to GORAK SHEP for the night.

Today, you can take a rest day in Kathmandu, explore the city, or engage in some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. You can also opt for an optional tour or activity as per your preference.
If you desire to prolong your stay in Nepal, we provide well-known trips to Pokhara, Chitwan National Park, and other cultural heritage tours. Furthermore, we offer outbound tours to Tibet, India, and Bhutan. Lastly, you will relish a farewell dinner at a fancy restaurant to conclude your journey.
Our representative will assist us with our transfer to the airport for our flight back home. We’ll say goodbye to the incredible scenery, the welcoming people, and the unforgettable memories of our trek to Everest Base Camp.
