Embark on a trek of the Annapurna Circuit in a magnificent program prepared by Trek Me Nepal. This travel program is set in one of Nepal's oldest trekking routes and is probably the country's most popular travel itinerary. In a matter of two weeks, this journey is guaranteed to stir your soul and challenge your inner self.
You will set out from Besisahar with excitement growing and the promise of a great adventure ahead. The drive takes you through winding paths along forests where the air is filled with the scent of pine and rhododendron. With each passing moment, the excitement builds up in anticipation of an extraordinary experience.
Going through scenic villages, you will meet warm-hearted locals who are always ready to share a cup of tea and a moment of chat. The kindness and friendliness will act as a balm for your tired feet at times. While you will want to keep listening to their stories, you will be pressed to move ahead.
Climbing higher, the landscape transforms from dense forests into semi-arid terrain. The air grows thin as the challenge intensifies, and you will be pushed to keep up on schedule. With your lungs literally working overtime, each step will feel gruelling — but you'll be rewarded with increasingly spectacular views of the Annapurna range.
The trek will pose difficulty on your body — blisters form, muscles ache, and the altitude sickness can be brutal. There will be moments when you will question your decision to come here.
But at the same time, you will catch a glance of a beautiful mountain, and all doubts will vanish instantly. The beauty and grandeur will rightly remind you why you took this trip in the first place!
Reaching Thorung-La Pass at 5,416 metres, you will come to the pinnacle of your endurance. The air is painfully thin, and each step is a battle. Drawing a single breath will seem like a long and arduous activity — but keep breathing anyway.
Gradual steps will finally take you past the pass, and the epiphany that will surround you is beyond words. Standing at the top of the world surrounded by a panorama of white peaks, your eyes will see something they have never seen before on the planet.
The sense of achievement and victory will come at such an overwhelming magnitude that you will begin to feel lighter, wiser, and.
After what seems like a long stretch of photography, you will begin the descent from Thorung-La to arrive at one of the most sacred sites in the world — the Temple of Muktinath. Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims have sought blessings here for millennia.
The journey then takes you through the windswept town of Jomsom. The winds here are so strong that you might be swept off your feet if you do not tread properly.
Nearing the end of the program, you will take a flight from Jomsom — passing above the world's deepest gorge of Kali Gandaki, where the wind howls loudly as if it were a living creature. Flying above Ghorepani and Poon Hill, you will touch down in Pokhara, ending this trip.
This transformative journey will open your eyes to the raw beauty of nature and the richness of Nepal's geographical diversity. Yes, you will return with aching muscles, but you will have a heart full of profound memories.
From subtropical lowlands to the windswept highlands, from dense forests to barren moonscapes — the diversity of this route is unparalleled in the world. It's a journey that will call you time and again to Nepal.
Experience 14 days of trekking from Kathmandu to Muktinath via Manang, explore alpine villages, lakes, and Thorung-La Pass, ending with Pokhara and Kathmandu highlights.
