The Everest Base Camp Heli Trek is an 8-day trip that takes you through the stunning Himalayan ranges of Nepal. You will start your journey in Kathmandu and take a scenic flight to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding and Namche Bazaar.

After a rest day in Namche Bazaar, you will take a helicopter ride to Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar and return to Lukla. This trip concludes with a flight back to Kathmandu and a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley before departure.

  • 3 nights’ accommodation in Kathmandu at a 3-star hotel in twin-sharing/double rooms with breakfast.
  • Three-time meals during the trek (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), including tea/coffee in the morning & seasonal fruits in the evening.
  • Twin-sharing guesthouse accommodation during the trek for four nights in the Everest Region with attached toilets in Lukla, Phakding & Namche.
  • Highly experienced guide and porters, including their wages, food, accommodation, equipment, and insurance (1 porter for every 2 clients).

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the Hotel

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the day exploring the city on your own or rest and prepare for the trek.

Day 2
Fly from (Manthali/Kathmandu)- Lukla (2,846m) and Trek to Phakding

Early in the morning, you will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which offers amazing views of the Himalayan ranges. After landing in Lukla, you will start your trek to Phakding, a small village situated along the Kosi River. You will cross several suspension bridges and pass through dense forests to reach Phakding.

Day 3
Trek to Namche Bazaar

Trek Duration 6-7hrs

After breakfast, you will begin your trek to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region. You will walk along the banks of the Dudh Kosi River and cross several suspension bridges. You will also pass through small villages and dense forests before reaching Namche Bazaar.

Day 4
Acclimatization Day & Hike - Visitor Park - Hotel Everest View(3,880) - Namche
Trek Duration 4hrs

You will spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the local market, visit the Sherpa Museum, visitor park and hike to the Everest View Hotel to get a glimpse of Mount Everest, lhotse, Ama dablam and other peaks.

Day 5
Helicopter-Ride around the Everest BC - Kala Patthar - Lukla
Highest Altitude 2,846m

After breakfast, you will board a shared helicopter for a scenic flight to Everest Base Camp and land at Kala Patthar for a photo sessions. It is the highest point of the Everest Base Camp Trek, Kala Patthar. You will get to see stunning views of the Himalayan ranges, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and other peaks. After spending some time at Kala Patthar you will take the helicopter back to Lukla.

NOTE: The helicopter fight is shared and not privately chartered. If there are no one to share the ride with. The charter cost has to be beared.

Fly back to(Manthali/Kathmandu)and drive to Kathmandu

In the morning, you will board a flight back to Kathmandu or Manthali (Ramechhap), depending on the availability of flights from Lukla. Once you reach Kathmandu, you can rest or explore the city on your own.

Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley

Today, you will go on a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley, which includes visits to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You can also do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.

Final Departure

Your Everest Base Camp Heli Trek comes to an end today. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
