The Trek offers a scenic, low-impact journey to the world’s tallest mountain, Mt. Everest. Those are suitable for all ages and without altitude sickness risks. It offers a short alternative to altitude sickness, allowing visitors to experience the stunning views of Everest from the famous Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar.

  • Accommodation for two nights in Kathmandu is included in a 3-star hotel with twin-sharing/double rooms and breakfast provided. (private room accommodation can be organized at an extra cost).
  • TMN’s Experienced trekking guide who is first-aid trained and government licensed person.
  • Standard meals and accommodation during the trek consist of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a cup of hot beverage in the morning and fresh seasonal fruits.
  • Porters are available for carrying luggage, with one porter for every two clients.
  • All staff wages, accommodation, meals, gear, insurance, and medications are included.
  • A TMN t-shirt, duffel bag, sleeping bag and down jacket is provide during the trek.(If required)

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will receive you at the airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. You can visit the Thamel area which is a lively place with shops, restaurants which offers an introduction to Nepali urban life. Exchange local currency and purchase a local SIM card. Familiarize yourself with the city’s attractions, prepare for weather, acclimate to altitude, and respect local customs and traditions.

Fly from Kathmandu/Manthali-Lukla and Trek to Phakding

After we have breakfast you will be transferred to the domestic airport. You will take the flight to Lukla  The Everest View Trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on weather conditions. Upon arrival, you meet the guides and support staff, who provide information on the itinerary and safety guidelines. Lunch is provided in Lukla, and the first leg of the trek descends through lush forests and small villages along the Dudh Kosi River. 

 

The trail involves suspension bridge crossings, passing Chaurikharka and Monjo Checkpoint. The trail continues to Jorsalle Village, a common resting point. The final leg to Phakding involves a gradual ascent before reaching a charming village with teahouses and lodges. The trek is considered moderate, with a short distance on the first day, allowing for acclimatization and a comfortable pace.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Today we will trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. You will get to view the panoramic view of the Himalayas. The Everest View Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is a significant part of the journey, taking you deeper into the Khumbu region and closer to the stunning views of the Himalayan peaks. The trail follows the Dudh Kosi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through traditional Sherpa villages. 

 

The trail also passes through Jorsalle Village, a common resting point and checkpoint for the Sagarmatha National Park. The trail ascends steeply through dense forests, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Namche Bazaar, the commercial and cultural hub of the Khumbu region, offers stunning mountain views and is a great place for acclimatization. The trek involves a significant ascent, so it’s crucial to take it slow, stay hydrated, and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Today you take a much needed rest. Relaxation is important as you feel tired due to the trek.
