Mera Peak Climbing is the ultimate adventure for thrill-seekers and mountain enthusiasts. Scaling the highest trekking peak in Nepal, standing tall at 6,461m/21,190ft, is an experience like no other.
The best seasons to conquer this peak are spring and autumn when the views of the Himalayan range are truly breathtaking. From the summit, you can see five of the world’s tallest peaks, including the legendary Mt. Everest.
At Himalayan Glacier, we have been organizing Mera Peak expeditions since 1992. Our itinerary has been carefully crafted to ensure a steady ascent with a dedicated day for acclimatization in Khare.
Our route takes us south from Lukla through the picturesque Hinku Valley and then back via the Zatra La pass. This way, we get to experience the beauty of the Nepalese wilderness while passing through charming villages that offer a glimpse into the rich local culture. The longer route also aids in acclimatization, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable climb.
Mera Peak is a challenging trekking peak that requires moderate mountaineering experience. The technical mountaineering skills required are basic, and our experienced Sherpa guides provide pre-summit training to ensure everyone is adequately prepared. If you’re up for an unforgettable adventure, Mera Peak Climbing is the perfect choice.
